RGG talk to be presented at Kitware booth at SC14

A talk titled Reactor Geometry Generator (RGG) for Building Models & Meshes for Nuclear Reactor Design” will be presented in the Kitware booth at SC14 on Tuesday.

RGG is an open source tool developed by Argonne’s MCS Division staff members for generating several types of nuclear reactor assembly/core geometry and mesh.

Kitware, Inc., has developed the GUI and packaging for RGG. The GUI enables users to specify the duct structure of each subassembly used in the layout of the core’s lattice.

The work is a collaborative effort between Argonne’s Rajeev Jain and the Kitware team funded by DOE Nuclear Energy Fast Track SBIR.
